After vaccination I threw my first post-COVID dance party on the patio of the Kenton Club, went home the following day to visit my family for the first time in a year and half, then returned to Portland and dove right into prep for my Sugar Town 10th Anniversary Party.
Whew!
It has been a whirlwind since things started opening up again. I'm trying to seize the day because it seems that life in Oregon means there's always a new crisis right around the corner, and each new crisis seems to be something that keeps us locked indoors and apart from each other (heat, fire, ice storm, virus, hate group violence, teargas, etc). WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!
Because things are so frenzied as I try to get my career back on track, AND because we still can't perform our radio shows live in the KMHD studios (thus requiring 30 hours of production time for each episode of my show created from home), I'm not going to be able to make new episodes as often as I did during the pandemic shutdown. However, I'm STILL bustin' them out as fast as I can.
AND I'm working on my next patio party! It's a 1950s / 1960s summer theme. Help me spread the word! Tom Kay with be guesting and it's sure to be a blast!
